About Us

iKrave was established in 2018, as the passion project of husband and wife, Eric and Sheena Vandyke. Backed by Sheena’s soulful family recipes and her father’s three decades of culinary experience, Eric and Sheena were able to bring to life one of the most authentic and vibrant southern food restaurants in the South Florida area. Together, they experiment and create delicious menu items that don’t always follow traditional recipe books.

 

Eric and Sheena were both born and raised in Liberty City, so it was only fitting that they open up a restaurant that would take them back to their roots and uplift the community that saw them grow up. They also have an iKrave food truck, which they refer to as the “same foundation on wheels”, that serves hundreds of workers at the Port Of Miami daily. For the Vandykes, empowering their community has always been a goal. Having a place where all their family and friends can come together while savoring the best homemade soul food is just the icing on the cake.
